Animation, computer games, corporate production, film, interactive media, photo imaging, publishing, radio and television are just a few examples of the many areas in which media students can go on to work. The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Media Production offer students the opportunity to specialise in areas such as the film industry and pre-production.
This vocational course allows you to hone technical and practical skills. It is these skills that are sought after if you want to work in the media. You will learn to use a range of professional software programs (Photoshop, Final Cut-Pro, Live Type, Garageband, Dreamweaver) to produce a portfolio of practical work. If you prefer assessment through coursework rather than examinations, then this course will suit you.
This course is great for the independent worker, who likes to create products off their own back.
The course holds so much variety: from video, to audio and from music technology to film, it genuinely brings out the best in me.
Without BTEC Media I would have never made it to University: it has given me the skills and confidence to come up with ideas and concepts for my current course.
