The Sports Leaders UK Level 3 Award in Higher Sports builds upon the leadership skills and experience gained through the Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership. This course gives students the opportunity to learn new skills, to work with specialist community groups, and is of value to all those who wish to further develop their coaching skills. What skills do I need to be successful in this subject? The Award develops vital leadership skills such as communication, organisation and motivation, whilst instilling the confidence and desire in people to make a difference within their own communities. Assessment Practical assessment by an external assessor at end of the course. Throughout the course, learning takes place through practical experience as well as some written work, although the emphasis is on practical application.
