Values & Ethos
At St Paul’s Sixth Form, we believe that education is about more than results. It’s about becoming the person you are called to be. As a Catholic Sixth Form, our ethos underpins everything we do: we value every individual, celebrate their unique gifts, and support them to thrive.
We are proud of our Catholic foundation, but our community is open to all. Students join us from many schools and backgrounds, of all faiths and none, and quickly discover a sense of belonging here.
You arrive as you are, and you’re celebrated for it. You leave ready to take on the world.

Inclusive and Welcoming Community
Every student at St Paul’s is known and loved. We know your strengths, we notice when you’re struggling, and we care deeply about your journey. Our commitment is to nurture the whole person: academically, socially, and personally.
Our Catholic values call us to be a place of welcome. We are proud of the diversity of our Sixth Form community and the way our students support one another. Respect, kindness, and compassion are at the heart of our daily life together.
Here, you will find a community that celebrates differences and believes that everyone has something unique to offer.
I thought about leaving, but I realised no one else would care about me the way St Paul’s does. Here, I’m not starting over, I’m moving forward.

St Paul’s is an exceptional place. The Sixth Form fosters a strong sense of community that’s underpinned by faith. I decided to study here because of the dedicated teaching staff, who are committed to uplifting and inspiring us, in more than just our academic life.
— Lani (Head Student at St Paul’s and studies Law, Philosophy & Ethics and English Literature)
High Aspirations and Academic Growth
Because we value each student, we also challenge each student. At St Paul’s, you will be stretched to achieve your full potential. Our ethos is not about lowering expectations, it’s about combining high aspirations with the support you need to reach them.
Opportunities to Flourish
Being part of St Paul’s means opportunities to grow beyond the classroom. Whether through leadership roles, volunteering, retreats, enrichment, or acts of service, students learn to use their gifts to make a difference. These opportunities are part of what makes St Paul’s special. They prepare you not just for exams, but for life.
You arrive as you are, and you’re celebrated for it. You leave ready to take on the world.

My favourite thing about St Paul’s was how helpful and supportive my teachers have been. My advice to Year 12s is to get into the right habits early and use your time wisely.

Faith in Action
Our Catholic faith inspires us to live with hope, compassion, and service. This is expressed in many ways, through our care for one another, our commitment to social justice, and the way we celebrate the talents and gifts of every student.
Students of all faiths and none are welcome to participate as much or as little as they wish in spiritual life at St Paul’s, but everyone benefits from the ethos it creates: a place of respect, belonging, and shared purpose.
