Mr Rob Carter

Headteacher

It gives us great pleasure to introduce our Sixth Form at St Paul’s Catholic College to you. This is truly a new chapter of your life which we hope will be successful, challenging and enjoyable. We recognise that the choice of Sixth Form is one that is essential to get right.

St Paul’s has a reputation built on success and every person achieving their potential. Every person is given outstanding opportunities to learn and develop personally in the Sixth Form. We also believe it is important that Sixth Form students are leaders in our College community so there are a variety of opportunities to get involved in the life of the College.

As a Catholic community, every decision we make is about making the most of your God-given gifts and talents. We are totally committed to giving you the best possible education both in and out of the classroom. You will be taught in smaller groups, have more opportunities for independent learning and be asked to organise your time and work so as to ensure you are successful in all that you do. We will support you with this too.

We hope our website gives you a taste of what to expect at St Paul’s and we would encourage you to have a look around for yourself at our Open Evening. We hope by doing so, you will see that St Paul’s is the best place for you in the Sixth Form.

About St Paul's

St Paul's Catholic College is an 11-18 college with distinctive Sixth Form where everyone is welcome. You do not have to be Catholic, or a former student, to join our Sixth Form. We welcome students of all faiths (and none) from schools near and far.

Our Sixth Form is well-established and has achieved outstanding results for many years. However, we relocated to new premises in 2004, which offers a bright, modern campus that is perfectly equipped for learning in the 21st century.

Our vision of a friendly atmosphere and strong community spirit are key aspects of our provision. We provide the individual attention and support students need to fulfil their potential. Our wide range of courses and extra-curricular activites including work experience, sports, educational visits, and social events are the strength of the College.

Ethos & Values

Our mission is simple; it is that each student can achieve their potential and make the most of their God-given gifts and talents in their time with us. All of our education is based on the Gospel values faith, hope and love. The education and experiences students have here should be better than they would experience anywhere else. We look to support and challenge students so they flourish in a culture of success which sets them in the right direction in life.

Our students have excellent opportunities to grow academically, personally and in their faith. We can offer the perfect combination of academic achievement and the support of a vibrant faith community. When you send your child to us you can trust us to give them the best opportunities in every area of College life.
