Bursary
Your subject teachers will monitor your progress in relation to your academic potential and will liaise with your Sixth Form tutor. Every student will receive regular grade collections which are emailed home. During your tutor meetings you will be able to review your progress, set targets and be offered advice and support.
Bursary
The 16-19 Bursary Fund is designed to assist 16-19-year-olds in overcoming financial barriers to attending full-time education in sixth form. The government allocates a small amount of money to each sixth form to provide bursaries for students in financial need.
Since we have been granted a fixed amount, we cannot guarantee bursaries for all students who qualify. Priority will be given to families with the lowest income and the greatest need.
Payments will be contingent upon 100% attendance at lessons. The bursary is intended to assist students with transportation costs and any resources needed for sixth form. Additional details on the payment process will be provided in September once enrolment is completed.
