Tutor time
Tutor Time takes place on Mondays and Thursdays between 8:30am and 9am. All Sixth Form students are expected to attend.
Mondays are largely used for assemblies, whereas as Thursday’s sessions take place in tutor bases.
In addition to the above sessions, all students will have a 1:1 mentoring session with their tutor, once a fortnight.
Where can students go if they need support?
Students should see their tutor as their first port of call for most concerns as they will be able to give advice, support students in being able to share information with teachers, and sign-post students to further help if needed.
Sometimes, a student might need more specific support so this might include a referral to our in-college counsellor. Students (or parents/carers) should discuss this with the tutor or a member of the Sixth Form team to begin this process.
