What is BTEC Business?

These qualifications look at business in a consumer society and focus on how business organisations operate. There are key concepts and principles related to success in the world of business and the skills needed to work in business. BTEC can give you the skills to lead you straight into higher education or into employment. They are predominantly assignment based, with some exams, offering a vocational route for students.

HEAR FROM OUR STUDENTS

I do BTEC business because I am really intrigued about the subject, and it links well with my economics when looking at the external environment and the impact on Business such as interest rates and inflation.

Billy (BTEC Business Student)

The BTEC course allows me to combine coursework with controlled assessment, looking at how Businesses operate and for unit 27 I could combine my work experience placement with the coursework.
