Why Choose Sports at St Paul’s?

Our Sport Leadership programme combines expert guidance with a supportive and encouraging environment where every student can succeed.

  • Learn through experience by leading activities and working directly with groups in practical settings.
  • Develop key leadership skills such as communication, organisation and teamwork that go beyond the world of sport.
  • Gain confidence and independence as you plan, deliver and evaluate sessions designed to motivate others.
  • Work with dedicated staff who bring real insight and enthusiasm to every lesson.
  • Build a strong foundation for the future, preparing for careers or further study in coaching, teaching, fitness, and community leadership.

Where Sports Can Take You

Students who complete the Sport Leadership Award often move on to further study in sport, coaching, or physical education. Others take up roles in community sport, fitness instruction or youth leadership, using their communication and organisational skills to inspire participation and wellbeing.

I thought about leaving, but I realised no one else would care about me the way St Paul’s does. Here, I’m not starting over, I’m moving forward.
